For anyone that is having a problem with the weather docklet reporting the days incorrectly (for instance, Friday would list as Today, Tomorrow, Friday) we have an unofficial temporary workaround that you can try.

Close down ObjectDock so that it is not running.

Open the folder where ObjectDock is installed (typically C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock) and find your 'stardockweather.ocx' file. Right click on it and select 'Rename' and rename it to 'stardockweather.ocx.bak' so that you can keep your original file preserved in case something goes horribly wrong.

Download this replacement stardockweather.ocx file:

http://sd.stardock.com/ken/stardockweather.ocx

and save it to your ObjectDock install folder (C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock). Open up ObjectDock and check the weather docklet. This may not work for everyone as it is a temporary workaround.

Thaaaaaaaaaaanks )))

I have zip a spare one of this )))

You should get paid by stardock for doing this repair. Even more than that, you should get all in double the money and the bonus the original maker of this got from it. Why double you ask.... because your file is half as small, thats what I call "work well done"

Peace

It doesn't work for me: Zagreb, Croatia (Europe)

Is there way to make it work with my city? Theres a great page of national institute of weather with fresh weather data here: meteo.hr

Is there way to set the weather docklet to collect data from there?

thanks a lot. It worked for me.

Thank you so much for the fix on the weather docklet. It fixed mine right up and is now displaying the correct information! This thing has been driving me crazy for weeks. It's nice to have it back again.

The problem still persists in 2012 and the fix worked! Thanks OP

IMO - A bug that is 4 years old is a little ridiculous...Stardock should probably fix this in an upcoming release. We have all payed good money for this software, it should somewhat flawless, and if a bug is found it should be fixed immediately.

I'm not sure it qualifies as a "bug" but it is a problem. Something does break or corrupt the file but not very often and not for everyone. I doubt it can be easily reproduced, if at all. That can make a permanent fix almost impossible to implement.

The workaround still works and is not at all hard to apply. That is "flawless" enough for most users.

This bug is still there, and the fix still works
