For anyone that is having a problem with the weather docklet reporting the days incorrectly (for instance, Friday would list as Today, Tomorrow, Friday) we have an unofficial temporary workaround that you can try.

Close down ObjectDock so that it is not running.

Open the folder where ObjectDock is installed (typically C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock) and find your 'stardockweather.ocx' file. Right click on it and select 'Rename' and rename it to 'stardockweather.ocx.bak' so that you can keep your original file preserved in case something goes horribly wrong.

Download this replacement stardockweather.ocx file:

http://sd.stardock.com/ken/stardockweather.ocx

and save it to your ObjectDock install folder (C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock). Open up ObjectDock and check the weather docklet. This may not work for everyone as it is a temporary workaround.

Just tried this and it corrected the problem.  On an XP Home SP3 32-bit system running Object Dock Plus.

Thank you very much.

Me too on XP sp3 32bit

Yay, fix worked on WinXP SP3!

Worked for me as well...Vista SP1 (32 bit)

Thanks for the fix.(Vista SP1)

Thanks, that worked for me on 32-bit XP Pro.

For those interested, here is the old weather docklet that uses Weather.com instead of Accuweather.  It doesn't have the same nice fly out tiles, but I find it more accurate in my area. Unzip/extract the folder and place it in your ObjectDock\Docklets folder, it will then show up in Dock Settings under Docklets as "XML Weather Docklet".

Thanks,

It worked for me on a Vista ultimate 64, without SP1 (could not get SP1 installed, even with Microsoft help)

This isn't a patch but rather a file replacement for a "workaround' one of the current troubles of Object Dock. It will not execute to update Object Dock.

The instructions are to replace a file with in the Object Dock install folders.

"Download this replacement stardockweather.ocx file:

http://sd.stardock.com/ken/stardockweather.ocx

and save it to your ObjectDock install folder (C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock). Open up ObjectDock and check the weather docklet. This may not work for everyone as it is a temporary workaround."

Please try this out and let us know if it does not work for you.

Hi,

I'm a new user of Objectdock I had the same problem as all others above.

I've just downloaded the new file, and now I have (we are Wednesday): Today, Tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

So thanks a lot.

My computer with Win XP SP3.

Happy new year to you all.
